UNIQLO China joined China International Import Expo (CIIE) in 2020.

For UNIQLO China, we have three central goals:
  1. To enhance the UNIQLO LifeWear brand value with “Art and Science of LifeWear”  
  2. To communicate UNIQLO core product news, showcase the Technology, and the Design of the UNIQLO’s products.
  3. Showcase UNIQLO’s commitment to social responsibility.

To achieve these goals, we decided to create a seamless, in-depth brand experience - an exhibition of UNIQLO - “Museum of Tomorrow,” premised around the brands vision for tomorrow.

For the overall facade design, we wanted to showcase our products thoroughly. LifeWear is our products, as a beautiful component, displayed like a museum collection. Then, I created unique pavilion-like experiences for different core products to explain the technologies in fun yet engaging way.

Besides the exhibition design, we've also worked with documentary directors to capture "A Portrait of Tomorrow" through different KOL's and from Uniqlo fans' points of view. We put together a picture of how UNIQLO influences everyday people's lives and how the brand, inspired by its consumers, keeps involving.

For those who can not be there, we also created the online hub of the exhibition on the UNIQLO mini program.
